London Square has acquired the Grade II* listed County Hall in Kingston-Upon-Thames, South West London, with the intention of converting it into a premium residential development.
The redeveloped site will offer 292 homes – 256 private and 36 affordable – plus 4,408 sq m (circa 47,500 sq ft) of commercial space.
The 5.2 acre site is the former main headquarters of Surrey County Council and comprises the listed County Hall and a range of other buildings and courtyard areas.
It was originally purchased in 2021 by RER London and planning permission is already in place for the refurbishment, restoration and extension of the County Hall.
