Manchester Arndale has secured two new tenants. Cosmetics brand BPerfect has signed a five-year lease on a 2,000 sq ft unit and Manchester-founded sportswear retailer Castore has taken a 1,072 sq ft store on a 10-year term.
Scott Linard, portfolio manager for M&G Real Estate, said: “We are delighted that Manchester Arndale continues to attract new exciting brands. Our wide catchment of visitors allows these brands to showcase their innovative identities to a diverse mix of shoppers who are always eager to sample companies which offer a different type of retail experience.”
Steve Gray, head of European retail asset management at Global Mutual, added: “Castore and BPerfect are two fast-growing brands so it is wonderful to welcome their first physical stores in Manchester. Attracting a diverse mix of new and established retailers allows us to appeal to a larger audience which helps us ensure footfall is high year-round.”
M&G Real Estate and Global Mutual are joint asset managers of Manchester Arndale and New Cathedral Street. Metis Real Estate and Time Retail Partners are the centre’s retained letting agents and Green & Partners is the retained lease advisory agent.
