Real estate law firm Maples Teesdale has appointed Zoe Miller as the firm’s new head of real estate finance.

Miller will begin her new role on 1 April as a partner in the law firm and lead an all-female team of associates, which consists of Megan Newnham and newly promoted Katherine Garner.

She joined Maples Teesdale as a senior associate in 2019 and has a wealth of experience acting for funders and borrowers, advising on more than £500m of domestic and international real estate finance transactions.

Miller said: “I’m excited to be taking up this new role at an important time for us and our clients, as we help them to navigate funding pressures and market volatility to achieve valuable results.

“As we celebrate International Women’s Day, I’m especially proud to be leading an excellent all-female team, and I look forward to working closely with Megan and Katherine as we continue to deliver exemplary advice and counsel”.
