Mount Anvil has exchanged on the Lots Road South residential development site in Chelsea. Earlier this year, Mount Anvil was appointed by Kensington and Chelsea Council to develop the site, which will offer a mixture of homes and is part of wider improvement plans for the Lots Road area.
Mount Anvil and Kensington and Chelsea Council will now consult with the local community to design a scheme with a view to submitting a planning application in Spring 2024. If approved, work is expected to start on site in 2025.
Cllr Kim Taylor-Smith, the council’s lead member for Grenfell housing, housing and social investment, said: “We are pleased to mark this next milestone which brings us one step closer to providing more affordable and extra care homes in Chelsea. Following the exchange, work can continue to progress with our development partner Mount Anvil to transform this part of our borough into a place that will benefit the whole community.”
