Plans for a new art museum in London put forward by The Portman Estate and Moco Museum have been given the green light by Westminster City Council.
The partners submitted a change of use application for the recently completed One Marble Arch development on Oxford Street in August.
Following approval Moco Museum, which operates Museumplein in Amsterdam and Palacio Cervelló in Barcelona, hopes to open the doors on its first UK site some time next year.

The introduction of Moco will further enhance Marble Arch and Oxford Street; enlivening and adding to the already thriving arts and culture hub growing in this pocket of the West End.”
