Novel vaccine developer Baseimmune has signed for 3,350 sq ft of lab and office space in London BioScience Innovation Centre’s (LBIC) new grow-on space within the Apex building in the King’s Cross Knowledge Quarter.
Apex is the first of four buildings to be delivered by the Reef Group as part of the wider Tribeca life sciences development. Following the deal to Baseimmune the building is now 35% pre-let.
Dr Rich Ferrie, CEO of LBIC, said: “We place a high value on our existing relationship with the founding team at Baseimmune and I am delighted that they have chosen to drive the next phase of their growth at our fantastic new Apex facility. We are thrilled at how the market is responding to our new space and pre-letting activity is ahead of schedule.
