The freehold of a Grade II-listed hotel in Paddington with a guide price of £16m+ is the star lot at Strettons’ national property auction on 18 April.
The 55-room hotel, which is located in Norfolk Square, is let to Wonder Hospitality UK and generates £710,000 per annum.
Strettons’ auction director Andrew Brown said: “This is a genuinely rare opportunity for investors to purchase a significant property in a notable area of London. Only one property on Norfolk Square has come to market in the past 23 years, and the hotel produces a healthy income so its understandable that we are already seeing significant interest in the property.”
One of the more unusual lots at the upcoming sale, which features 57 properties from across the UK, is a disused military bunker in Surrey. ’Foxwarren Bunker’ sits on 2.1 acres of land and has a guide price of £165,000+.
Strettons’ auction will be live streamed at 12pm on 18 April.
