Liz Hamson is the former editor of Property Week, which she edited for eight years before leaving in April 2022 to launch BE News with former Property Week contributing editor (features), Simon Creasey. She was at the helm of Property Week when it was named best business magazine brand of the year at the prestigious PPA Awards in 2020. Prior to Property Week, she was deputy editor at The Grocer. Before that, she was features editor at Property Week. Liz is a graduate of Cambridge University, where she read English literature. In her free time, she likes to travel, go to festivals, read lowbrow women’s fiction and watch Persian cat-related videos.
