Global venture capital firm Pi Labs has promoted Hugo Silva to partner.
He will join founder and managing partner Faisal Butt, and partners Michael Murad and Stefania Ponzo, in Pi Labs’ senior leadership team.
Silva joined the company in 2019 and has been responsible for sourcing new portfolio deals and managing Pi Labs’ portfolio companies, including follow-on investments.
Butt said: “Hugo is a rare talent who possesses that intangible quality of being able to see what others don’t. He is laser-focused on finding innovative early-stage startups, and not afraid to take the calculated risk of backing founders harnessing cutting-edge new technologies that have real potential to scale, while positively transforming and decarbonising our built world. We are delighted to appoint Hugo as partner, and look forward to his contribution to the growth of the business.”
