Quadrant has appointed Aqeel Sourjah from design firm Studio Ceylon as associate partner. Prior to his appointment, while studying for an MSc in real estate development at the University of Westminster, he was mentored by Quadrant partner Yohance Harper.
Harper said: “At Quadrant we are always on the lookout for rising stars we can support and help grow to be the best professionals they can be. When I met Aqeel as a postgraduate student, his enthusiasm, ambition and the way he thought about the industry really stood out. Occupiers are placing more emphasis on workspace design than ever before, and Aqeel’s experience in the architectural sector coupled with his ability to think creatively will help ensure we are delivering the best possible modern space at our schemes, and operating it effectively. We welcome him to the team.”
Sourjah added: “I am delighted to be joining Quadrant, a dynamic organisation that is currently spearheading groundbreaking developments in London. YY London and OSMO Battersea stand out as transformative developments that are shaping the future of modern offices, providing best in class space for occupiers.
“What drew me to Quadrant was the company’s unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation, particularly in the realms of smart technology, amenities, and sustainability across all their projects. I am excited to be part of these visionary projects that will have a lasting positive impact on London.”
