A residential-led development site in East London with a GDV of £450m has hit the market.
The 5.9-acre Calico Wharf site will deliver 952 residential units spread across several buildings of up to 23 storeys as well as ancillary commercial floorspace and resident amenity.
The site, which sits at the heart of the Poplar regeneration area, is described as well suited to either a traditional build-to-sell or build-to-rent product and also offers the opportunity to create riverside activation.
James Barton, head of City and east land at Knight Frank, which has been appointed to market the opportunity, said: “As one of East London’s last remaining residential-led development projects of scale, Calico Wharf offers an outstanding riverside development opportunity with the ability to provide an exciting multi-use living sector environment.”
