Built environment consultancy Ridge has appointed Giles Heather as partner, project and programme delivery.
Heather has more than over 18 years’ experience in programme and project delivery across commercial real estate, mission critical, high-tech industrial, infrastructure, natural resources and the energy sectors.
In his new role, he will lead and grow Ridge’s project and programme delivery (PPD) team in London, covering programme leadership, project controls, project management and portfolio management for clients across the capital
Heather said: “I am delighted to be joining Ridge at such an exciting time for the business. Ridge has a strong reputation for delivering high quality advice and exceptional outcomes for clients across the built environment and I am looking forward to working with colleagues across the firm to further strengthen our project and programme delivery offering in London.
“With increasing demands on clients to deliver complex programmes efficiently and sustainably, there is a significant opportunity to bring together strategic leadership, our inter-disciplinary approach, robust controls and practical delivery expertise to help clients realise their ambitions. I am deeply committed to driving industry transformation and championing collaboration, digital innovation, sustainability and developing the next generation of talent.”
Jolyon Price, executive group and partner at Ridge, added: “Giles’s appointment is a clear statement of intent for our project and programme delivery team in London. London is a market where clients expect specialist expertise, technical depth and clear accountability from day one and Giles brings all three.
“He joins at a time when we’re continuing to invest in this discipline – from acquisitions like Adept Management, which brought specialist project controls and programme management capability into the business, through to new leadership across our regions. Giles will build on that momentum, growing our team and deepening the ingenuity and technical excellence clients expect from us in London.”
