Royal London Asset Management Property has appointed Paul Ruston as a fund manager for the living sector.

Ruston, who has more than 25 years of industry experience, joins the company from shared ownership provider Heylo where he worked as portfolio director following a decade leading Grainger’s PRS team.

Prior to that, he spent a decade at Allsop Residential Investment Management having started his career at Lloyds Banking Group.

In his new role, Ruston will focus on the continued delivery of high-quality housing in targeted locations and will work closely with in-house residential management operator ProperTies Living.

Mark Evans, head of property at Royal London Asset Management, said: “Paul’s experience and proven track record in managing funds in the private rented sector will be invaluable as we continue to increase our exposure to this market, and deliver long-term value to our investors. I look forward to working with Paul and continuing to reinforce Royal London Asset Management’s commitment to the property sector.”

Ruston added: “I’m thrilled to join the Royal London Asset Management Property team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive the strategy forward, identify new investment opportunities, and deliver positive outcomes for our investors. I look forward to working with the team and contributing to Royal London Asset Management Property’s continued success in the living sector.”
