Savills has strengthened its London mixed-use development team with the appointment of Rebecca Sargeant and Tom Case.

Sargeant (pictured) has joined the team as a director from Savills’ operational capital markets (OCM) team. During her previous eight years at the company, she advised on build-to-rent, major regeneration projects and development portfolios across the UK, working with a wide range of public and private sector clients.

Case joins the firm as an associate director from JLL, where he spent 10 years. For the past six years, he was a key member of JLL’s development consulting team, providing consultancy and transactional advice to public and private sector clients on sites across London and the South East.

Based in Savills’ Margaret Street office, Sergeant and Case will work closely with landowners and developers across London, advising on sites ranging from individual plots to large, multi-phase mixed-use masterplans.

Sophie Rosier, head of London mixed-use development at Savills, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Rebecca and Tom to the team, whose experience will further strengthen the advice we provide and our ability to unlock value and deliver commercially viable, long-term sustainable developments for our clients – the demand for which has never been greater than in recent years and the unprecedented challenges we face. As a team, we are really looking forward to continuing to find ways to unlock major real estate projects, which will continue shape successful places and thriving communities across London.”
