Sigma Homes has submitted revised plans for a new residential development on land to the south west of Ashford Hill Road in Ashford Hill.
The proposed plans for the site will see 45 new homes delivered, 40% of which will be affordable, in addition to a new co-working community hub designed to support home and hybrid working. This facility will also provide space for local activities and act as a social focal point for the development.
Chris East, group land director at Sigma Homes, said: “This planning application has been carefully designed, having regard to the reasons for the refusal of an earlier planning application in 2022 and following a robust process of community engagement. The scheme has been reduced in scale and incorporates a co-working community hub to facilitate home and hybrid working, thus reducing trips outside of the area and providing a flexible venue and focal point for village activities.”
