Simply UK has secured planning permission for a 60-bed care home in Uxbridge.
Designed by ADG Architects, the new purpose-built care home is located opposite Hillingdon Hospital, close to the A40. It will provide indoor and outdoor amenity space on a corner plot site.
Construction is scheduled to start imminently and the care home is due to open by summer 2026. It will be operated by Simply UK sister company Morar Living.
Thomas Meany, investment manager at Simply UK, said: “This latest development is part of our ongoing strategic growth plan and will be a flagship addition to our UK portfolio. As part of our continued commitment to sustainability, which will see all new homes powered by electric only, this home will be fuelled via heat source pumps and solar panels and will comply to EPC A rating”.
The project team included Gillings Planning, Goodson Associates and Charles Scott & Partners.
