Superdrug has agreed a deal to lease a 6,162 sq ft unit currently occupied by Poundland at Templar Shopping Park in Cowley.

The retailer has signed a 10-year lease with a tenant break and rent review at year five. It will take possession of the unit later this month.

The park is owned by Hampshire Pension Fund and managed by CBRE Investment Management and Quadrant Estates.

Superdrug has also expanded its existing presence at Landsec’s Westgate Centre in Oxford (pictured). The retailer has extended sideways into adjacent space at Units 21–22, creating a significantly enlarged store totalling 6,792 sq ft.

The expanded store on the ground floor opened earlier this year and is held on a new 10-year lease with a tenant break and rent review at year five.

GCW is the retained leasing agent for Superdrug. CBRE acted for Landsec at the Westgate Centre and CSP represented the landlord of Templar Shopping Park.
