Town Centre Securities (TCS) has secured planning consent to convert the former Flannels unit on Vicar Lane in Leeds into a new Dishoom restaurant.

The Bombay-inspired restaurant group has agreed a deal to take over the 8,000 sq ft space, which spans two floors.

Charles Newman, associate director, estates at TCS, said: “We are thrilled that planning approval has been granted for Dishoom’s arrival in Leeds. Dishoom’s signature Bombay-inspired hospitality and attention to detail make it a perfect fit for our city’s dynamic retail and leisure offering. We’re confident this new restaurant will become a major attraction for food lovers and visitors alike, further strengthening Leeds’ reputation as a cultural and culinary destination.”
