technologywithin has appointed Laurie Dennard to the firm’s executive team to support its ambitious three-year expansion plan.
Dennard has been with technologywithin for the last five years and led the launch of the brand in 2019. She also led technologywithin’s recent partnership with the Flexible Space Association to create the ‘Women in Flex’ initiative, to support and enable conversations among women working in the flexible workspace sector.
Dennard said: “technologywithin’s strength to date has been the technology focus at its core. This has allowed the team to develop a unique portfolio designed around flexspace operator requirements and an authentic brand reputation based on expertise. As the company enters its next growth phase – onboarding high profile brands with multiple sites means that we now serve over 450 sites – the commercial focus needs to shift a little more to the centre.
“I’ve joined the executive team at an exciting time for technologywithin and I look forward to developing our offer and responding to the growing need for flexspace technology across the broader CRE and hospitality sectors; along with developing the businesses response to ESG and CSR.”
Jon Seal, managing director of technologywithin, added; “Laurie is a hugely valued part of technologywithin and joins the executive team at an exciting time for the business. Flex space is seeing an influx of investment – with 64% of landlords working to convert part of their CRE portfolios to flex, according to Instant’s ‘2022 Flex Industry Survey’ – and as our portfolio investment programme begins to bear fruit, we need an equally ambitious approach to branding, marketing and communications.”
