The Massage Company is targeting 100 operational sites by 2030 as part of its ambitious UK-wide expansion plans.

The company opened its first centre in Camberley in March 2016 and now has nine centres operating across the UK. Its tenth site is due to open shortly in Reading and its eleventh site will open in Watford in Q1 2025.

The Massage Company specialises in sports, Swedish, deep tissue and maternity massage.

Matt Gillson, senior director, UK retail at CBRE, which is advising the company on its UK expansion plans, said: “The Massage Company offers a refreshing wellness concept to the British high street, at a time when a diversified tenant mix is becoming increasingly important. We have partnered with them from the very beginning and are thrilled to be supporting on their ambitious expansion plans, as they increase the speed of roll-out across the country.”

Elliot Walker, founder and CEO of The Massage Company, added: “From the start, our partnership with CBRE has been a key element in our goal of making massage mainstream. We are delighted to continue working with Matt Gillson and the team, as we bring the mental and physical health benefits of massage therapy to people all over the UK.”
