Coventry School Foundation has put the freehold of a former educational building located close to Coventry city centre and railway station up for sale.

The Trevor Webb Centre on Warwick Road occupies a 0.38-acre site and houses a detached two-storey building providing circa 5,158 sq ft. Purpose-built in 1996 as a sixth form centre, the property provides a range of classrooms, teaching spaces, offices, meeting rooms and welfare facilities, together with outdoor amenity space and on-site parking.

The site lies within the Kenilworth Road Conservation Area and may be suitable for a variety of alternative uses, including office, healthcare, education, residential, student accommodation, care or retirement living, subject to the necessary consents.

Sadie Janes, development director and head of development at Savills in the West Midlands, which has been appointed to market the opportunity, said: “The Trevor Webb Centre represents a rare opportunity to acquire a substantial freehold property in one of Coventry’s most accessible and well-connected locations. Its position opposite the King Henry VIII School campus, close to both the city centre and railway station, makes it an attractive proposition for a wide range of purchasers. We expect interest from investors, owner occupiers and developers seeking to unlock the potential of a highly prominent site in a thriving city.”
