Grow Places has commenced the first round of neighbourhood consultation for the redevelopment and reuse of parts of the Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, East London.
The plans for the mixed-use development will be designed by Buckley Gray Yeoman (BGY) – in its role as masterplanner – Carmody Groarke, BGY, Morris + Company, Henley Halebrown and Chris Dyson Architects.
Publica is managing the urban design and the public realm will be designed by Spacehub. Arup is the consultancy on sustainability and multidisciplinary engineering and planning consultancy is being managed by DP9.
The group will work across seven development plots within the Truman Brewery estate. The mixed-use development will feature retained and new buildings, commercial space, new public realm and new homes, including affordable homes.

A further round of consultation will be held in early 2024 informed by the community responses received and by further discussion with Tower Hamlets Council and other stakeholders.
