The Range has signed a lease on a 35,000 sq ft store which will operate under the Wilko fascia at Frasers Group’s The Mall shopping centre in Luton.
The store, which was formerly occupied by Wilko, is one of five new shops due to open this side of Xmas under Wilko’s new ownership.
Starbucks has also signed for a 1,720 sq ft unit in the middle of 900,000 sq ft shopping centre on a 15-year lease.
Mark Stapleton, asset manager at Sovereign Centros, which asset manages the centre on behalf of Frasers Group, said: “These two openings are great news for the centre and the town ahead of that critical pre-Christmas period and will give shoppers an added reason to visit us.”
Letting agents for The Mall are JLL and NM Real Estate. Morgan Williams advised The Range on the letting and EYCO represented Starbucks.
