Pan-European real assets business Kajima has appointed Philip McLaughlin as project director in its London-based team.
McLaughlin joins Kajima from Bloomberg and will be directly responsible for overseeing delivery of the company’s Central London development pipeline in addition to construction of developments across its European portfolio, with a specific focus on logistics and student accommodation.
He spent 13 years at Bloomberg and prior to that he worked for Stace LLP for seven years working across a range of sectors, including corporate real estate, retail, hotels and leisure.
McLaughlin said: “I am excited to join Kajima’s European team. The business has a great reputation in the market and an impressive track record of investments across the UK and Europe. I look forward to building upon the achievements of current projects and supporting opportunities to grow the portfolio.”
