Cushman & Wakefield has named Ed Fitch as the firm’s new head of hospitality UK and Ireland.
Fitch, who has more than 20 years’ experience in the hotel investment sector in Europe and Asia, with previous roles spanning strategic advisory, valuation and brokerage, will oversee Cushman & Wakefield’s team of UK hospitality service line leads, including Rob Seabrook who will take responsibility for UK hotel capital markets and development lead Richard Candey. Fitch will also retain leadership for hospitality capital markets in the Benelux region.
Jonathan Hubbard, head of EMEA hospitality at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “The UK and Ireland is the most liquid hotel market in Europe and is a key focus for the continued growth of our EMEA hospitality group. Ed’s extensive experience in international markets, together with his experience across multiple service lines makes him the ideal candidate to lead the team. He is extremely well respected amongst clients and colleagues, and I look forward to him building on the successes of the team in recent years”
