AshbyCapital and Janson Urban have let 7,810 sq ft at The Kensington Building to Ilex Capital.

The investment manager has also taken 1,297 sq ft of outside terrace space on the fourth floor of the building, where 54,635 sq ft is still available including 23,000 sq ft on a single floor.

The Kensington Building was completed last year and was recently crowned the winner of the ‘Refurbished/Recycled Workplace’ category at the BCO Awards London 2023. The BREEAM Excellent-rated building, which was designed by Gillespies Landscape Architects, offers 94,734 sq ft of office space.

Peter Ferrari, chief executive of AshbyCapital, said: “It’s exciting to welcome Ilex Capital to The Kensington Building, following hot on the heels of the letting of the fifth floor, and we are confident they will enjoy the step change in quality and lifestyle that their new working environment offers.

“When we set out to create The Kensington Building, attracting forward-thinking occupiers was central to our vision, and so this deal is testament not only to the success of the sustainable workplace we have created, but also the attractiveness of Kensington as a vibrant and desirable place to work.”

JLL represented Ilex Capital. Agents for the building are Cushman & Wakefield and EiA Real Estate.
