Redevco has signed two new F&B tenants at White Lion Walk Shopping Centre in Guildford.
American fast casual restaurant Chipotle and bubble tea operator Mooboo have signed for 1,700 sq ft and 350 sq ft units respectively, with both companies aiming to open for business at the centre this summer.
The signings follow Redevco’s £8m investment to transform the 1980s-built White Lion Walk Shopping Centre into Guildford’s most dynamic retail, leisure and office destination. Working in association with architects Corstorphine & Wright, the property has undergone a substantial refurbishment whilst occupiers continued to trade.
On the first floor, the developer has created the high specification, 15,000 sq ft White Lion House office space, which is due to complete this summer, and according to Redevco the space is already attracting strong interest from potential occupiers.

Redevco recently completed lease renewals with Greggs and the British Heart Foundation, with a further two units at the centre under offer and another unit receiving strong occupier interest. There are now just three 300 sq ft ground floor units available.
