Aon has signed for 23,000 sq ft at the 315,000 sq ft The Colmore Building in the heart of Birmingham city centre.
The global professional services and management consultancy firm has taken space on the 12th floor of the building, which was acquired by Blackstone in April last year. A further 4,000 sq ft on the third floor has also just been leased to global CEO advisory firm Teneo.
There is now just 17,700 sq ft of space left in the Grade A office development, which is managed by Revantage Real Estate, the real estate services platform established by Blackstone.
The BREEAM Very Good rated building boasts a wide range of amenities, including a 6,000 sq ft gym, café, treatment rooms, on-site private doctor, yoga studio, cycle storage, showers and basement parking.
Ed Hodgson, managing director of Revantage Real Estate, said: “The leasing success of The Colmore Building illustrates the strong and resilient demand for best-in-class, sustainable and centrally located office space in this post-pandemic era. The Colmore Building’s additional services and amenities really set it apart.
“Companies understand the value of the office not only in providing an attractive, collaborative environment to stimulate performance and wellbeing of staff, but also as a defining factor in the challenge to attract and retain talent.”
Knight Frank and JLL are joint leasing agents for The Colmore Building.
