AEW has appointed town centre retail specialists GCW as joint letting agents alongside Lunson Mitchenall on the company’s recently purchased Windsor Royal Station retail and leisure scheme.
AEW’s Urban Real Estate Fund bought the 74,000 sq ft scheme last month for £18.5m and in 2021 the fund purchased the adjacent 260,000 sq ft Windsor Yards shopping centre.
GCW advised UREF on the acquisition of the historic Grade II listed Windsor Royal Station and devised a retail and leisure leasing strategy for it. GCW has worked on Windsor Yards shopping centre for more than 20 years.
