Landsec has let 9,400 sq ft on the fourth floor of its The Forge office development in Southwark to carbon capture firm Carbon Clean.
The Forge was opened earlier this year by Chris Skidmore MP and Landsec claims it is the UK’s first commercial development to have been designed in line with the UK Green Building Council’s definition of a net zero building.
Located next to the Tate Modern in the heart of Bankside, The Forge provides 140,000 sq ft of office space across two buildings, Bronze and Phosphor.

The Forge was designed by architects Piercy & Co and Bryden Wood. Construction was led by a joint venture between Mace and Sir Robert McAlpine. The letting agents are CBRE and Union Street Partners.
