Regal London has let 16,795 sq ft to flexible offices provider YoooServ at The Clarendon Works in Watford.
In addition to providing flexible workspace on the ground and first floors of the 173,000 sq ft building, YooServ will also manage 13,767 sq ft of amenity space and services throughout the building.
The letting is the first at the Fraser Brown MacKenna-designed building, which is currently being constructed and is set to open in Q3 next year.
Paul Eden, co-founder of Regal London, said: “We have approached The Clarendon Works, our first standalone office development, with the exact same approach as we take on our residential developments: excellence in design, a focus on wellbeing of those living (and working) here, and a drive to create not just homes but a community. YoooServ shares those values and will ensure that The Clarendon Works offers a workplace experience unlike anywhere else nearby – and, indeed, often one better than the offices in Euston and King’s Cross, just a 15-minute journey away. With completion less than a year away, space in the building is in demand and we’re looking forward to welcoming teams to a bustling workspace.”
Benjamin Willmore, chief executive officer of YoooServ, added: “Watford is in the middle of a £1.5bn glow-up which is spearheaded by the local council, complementing what Regal London is doing – creating a premium mixed-use scheme of homes and office space. The Clarendon Works will offer an exceptional experience to businesses of all shapes and sizes, including those currently based in Watford, those across the north-west M25 corridor, and businesses attracted by its train links of 15-minutes into London Euston. Our values and energy chime as we set a new bar for the demands of the office, amenity and wellbeing-led spaces.”
Lambert Smith Hampton and Bray Fox Smith are letting agents for The Clarendon Works.
