TT Group (formerly Telereal Trillium) has submitted a planning application for the redevelopment of the former Ravenscourt Park Hospital in Hammersmith, West London.
TT Group intends to preserve the existing 1930s Grade II* listed building and its Art Deco interiors and bring the disused site back to life through the creation of 140 new homes and a 65-bed care home, in addition to commercial and community space.
The plans for the site were designed in conjunction with architects SPPARC, and TT Group worked collaboratively in pre-application consultation with the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, Historic England, the Hammersmith Society and a number of other local interest groups.
Duncan Brisbane, development director at TT Group, said: “After our acquisition of this disused site last year, it’s great to reach this next milestone in delivering a new residential-led scheme in one of West London’s most popular areas. We are increasingly keen to identify new sites like this, where our development team can add value, bring vacant buildings and sites back into long-term sustainable use while preserving their unique character, and meet the need for new homes across the UK.”
Turley advised TT Group on planning and heritage matters.
