Keepmoat has secured planning consent for the delivery of 109 new homes in Willenhall, Walsall.
The new neighbourhood, which has been named Locksmiths Quarter, will be built across recently demolished sites at Temple Bar/Stafford Street, Cemetery Road, Villiers Street, New Hall Street and Moat Street.
The scheme will provide a range of different home types and tenures, including homes for private sale, shared ownership and social rent.
Nicky Barker, deputy leader of Walsall Council, said: “It’s great to see the progress that’s already been made in Willenhall. Demolishing derelict and disused sites to make way for new homes is great for the local community. I’m pleased that planning permission has been granted for 109 new homes and look forward to seeing work start soon.”
