Mission Street and BGO have secured resolution to grant planning permission from Oxford City Council for phase two of their Fabrica development in the West End of Oxford.
The new-build scheme, which was designed by global architecture firm NBBJ, will provide 180,000 sq ft of wet labs and office space within a 10-minute walk from Oxford station and city centre.
Earlier this week, Misson Street and BGO reached practical completion on the 65,000 sq ft Inventa building in central Oxford, which comprises lab, office and collaboration space.
Artem Korolev, CEO of Mission Street, said: “The decision to grant planning permission for Fabrica is a significant statement for the city of Oxford and for the Mission Street-BGO joint venture. This is the largest commercial sciences scheme to gain consent in central Oxford and recognises the growing trend towards urban science.
