The University of Cambridge has completed two lettings at the Broers Building in the Cambridge West innovation district.
Nu Quantum has expanded its footprint at the site, signing a new five-year lease on the 1,872 sq ft Suite S2 and extending its lease on Suite G3. Nu now occupies 5,409 sq ft in the building. And Next Gen Diagnostics UK (NGD) has agreed a five-year lease on the 718 sq ft Suite F3.
Kurt Richards, partner, commercial, at Carter Jonas, which represented the landlord on the lettings, said: “It is a testament to the appeal of Cambridge as a centre for innovation, the quality of the development, and its position within the campus, that both NGD and Nu Quantum are expanding on-site.
“Cambridge is a hub for leading talent and continues to receive strong demand for prime business and innovation centres like the Broers Building. Despite macro-economic challenges, well-positioned cluster locations such as this provide and support opportunities for collaboration between universities and the business sector and have a significant positive impact on growth.”
