BE News is delighted to reveal the line-up of our new ESG Editorial Advisory Board.
The board features some of the most influential names from across the built environment industry. The board members, who have committed to helping inform and improve our editorial strategy and events over the coming year, are:

The board aims to meet quarterly and has already had its first meeting, during which the need to focus on the ‘S’ in ESG, make content “relevant and cool” and discuss “tangible relatable subjects” was discussed. Board members also emphasised the need to add to current knowledge, debunk myths and showcase best practice, which is what BE News aims to do over the coming year with the board’s invaluable input and advice.
Several members explained why they were taking time out of their busy schedules to commit to the BE News ESG Editorial Advisory Board.
Amira Hashemi, ESG lead for property asset management, Knight Frank, said: “I saw joining the advisory board as a unique opportunity to influence how ESG can be communicated to various property professionals and organisations.”
Basil Demeroutis, managing partner at Fore Partnership, said: “The greatest challenge to creating a low-carbon, high-impact built environment is boosting both know-how and courage in equal measure. BE News, with its powerful voice, is a fulcrum on which this much needed industry transformation turns.”
Lindsay Taylor, UK head of delivery at Deepki, said: “The opportunity to come together with like-minded individuals from across the real estate industry to support and drive ESG topics was an easy decision to make. To understand the numerous challengers that are faced in each corner of our industry and as a board discuss and help drive actions from these insights for positive change, is an exciting prospect.”
