AshbyCapital has completed two leasing deals at The Future Works in Slough.

Global tech protection and support specialist Likewize has taken 14,797 sq ft on the third floor of the scheme and mobile virtual network operator Tesco Mobile has leased the 7,004 sq ft plug-and-play space on the second floor of the building.

The BREEAM Excellent-rated building’s on-site amenity provision includes a 3,100 sq ft communal roof terrace, an all-day café, secure basement parking with electric car charging spaces and comprehensive facilities for cyclists and runners.

Following completion of these deals, just 44,382 sq ft of office space is available at The Future Works.

Tom Smithers, property director at AshbyCapital, said: “Signing two further lettings at The Future Works completed a successful 2023 for the building, with deals for half of the space agreed in the second half of the year. We are delighted that Tesco Mobile will be taking advantage of our plug-and-play workspace, which meets the growing trend towards flexibility and enables occupiers to focus on their business rather than arranging an office fit-out.

“Employees of Tesco Mobile and Likewize will be able to enjoy first-rate amenities that promote wellness and collaboration, from our communal roof terrace to the exciting new programme of events that Plus X Innovation will be running. Likewize’s selection of The Future Works and Slough for its new home, joining the highest concentration of global headquarters in the UK outside London, demonstrates Slough’s continued appeal as a business destination. Interest in remaining floors is strong and we look forward to welcoming further businesses here.”

Hollis Hockley and CBRE represented AshbyCapital on the transactions. Tesco Mobile was represented by Cluttons and Likewize was represented by Knight Frank.
