Topland has secured planning consent for a 585-bed purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme in Cardiff city centre.
The Greyfriars Road development will be centred around a 28-storey tower, which replaces the vacant 1960s-built Friary House office building that formerly housed Tiger Tiger nightclub.
Designed by Rio Architects, the scheme will provide a mix of studio, en-suite clusters and one-bed apartments together with amenity space, a roof garden and commercial space on the ground floor.
Topland worked with its development partner Colico Living to achieve the consent.
