Godwin Developments has secured outline planning permission for a mixed-use roadside development on a 9.5-acre site adjacent to the A47 in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.
The Wisbech Gateway scheme will comprise up to 60,000 sq ft of industrial space, a hotel of up to 40,565 sq ft, a petrol filling station of up to 5,000 sq ft, a drive-thru (4,300 sq ft) and a drive-to diner (5,975 sq ft).
Godwin said the site, which is located at a key strategic point in the region’s road network, benefited from a population of more than 110,000 people within a 20-minute drive as well as passing road traffic of more than 6.5 million vehicles per year.
