Dishoom has signed for 5,996 sq ft at Lothbury Investment Management’s North Bailey House in Oxford for its spin-off all-day bar and café Permit Room.
The restaurant group has taken a 25-year lease across the ground and basement floors of the new mixed-use development, which also contains office and retail space.
The scheme, which is located on New Inn Hall Street in the heart of Oxford city centre, is fully let following the letting to Dishoom.
Jessica Hill, surveyor in the restaurants and leisure team at Savills, which acted for the landlord on the deal, said: “We are delighted that Dishoom’s Permit Room has chosen Oxford for its next location. It will be joining an impressive array of vibrant bars and restaurants, with today’s deal marking a huge milestone for the city’s exciting placemaking plans as this move further enhances this sought-after public realm and retail space.”
