Savills has strengthened its recoveries and receivership team hiring Alex Smith from Amazon UK Services as associate director.
At Amazon UK Services, Smith was an asset manager responsible for managing industrial units across the Midlands, Wales and Ireland.
In his new role, he will be based at the company’s Finsbury Circus House office in the City of London and will focus on recoveries and receivership at a national level working with new and existing clients.
Kevin Mersh, director, recoveries and receivership at Savills, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Alex to the team. His wide range of experience across lease negotiation and landlord and tenant legislation will be a great addition to our already strong offer.”
Smith added: “After gaining over nine years’ experience in property and asset management, I am excited to be starting my new role at Savills at what is an interesting time in the market.”
