UK clothing brand Trailberg has signed for its first permanent UK store at Manchester Arndale.
The company has signed a five-year lease on a 1,300 sq ft unit formerly occupied by Cruyff.
Steve Gray, head of European retail asset management at Global Mutual – joint asset manager of Manchester Arndale with M&G Real Estate – said: “We always enjoy working with new and innovative businesses, so it is great to see Trailberg select Manchester Arndale for its first store. Trailberg has become a popular UK brand, especially in the North West, and we expect their new store to become popular with our shoppers.
“Having a strong mix of brands is vital to maintaining a popular retail destination. Not only does it help to attract strong footfall, but it also encourages interest from both international and local brands keen to benefit from the centre’s reputation as the go-to shopping destination for the North West. As a result, we are close to agreeing further leases with several big name brands which will take the centre closer to full occupancy.”
Metis Real Estate and Time Retail Partners are the centre’s retained letting agents and Green & Partners is the retained lease advisory agent.
