Pennyfarthing Homes has received planning consent for 38 new homes on a four-acre greenfield site at its Potters Wood development in Verwood, Dorset.
The permission relates to the third and final phase of Pennyfarthing’s project and will bring the total number of homes delivered at the site to 268.
Half of the new houses will be open market homes and half will be designated as affordable ‘first homes’ designed to support local first-time buyers and key workers in the area. The affordable units will consist of two- and three-bedroom houses, as well as one- and two-bedroom flats.

Construction of the final phase is set to begin later this year, with the first homes expected to be available by January 2025.
