Gaw Capital has completed a flurry of deals totalling 25,500 sq ft at the HX1&2 office scheme at Harbour Exchange in London’s Docklands.
PopMart has taken 2,400 sq ft on an five-year term and Chinese tea retailer Tea Story has signed a five-year lease on 1,189 sq ft of space.
In addition to the new lettings, existing occupier CLS Holdings, which currently leases 16,821 sq ft of space at HX1&2, has recommitted to a further four years, and Digicert, which currently occupies 5,124 sq ft at HX12, has signed for a further six years.
Kevin Koo, director at Gaw Capital UK, said: “The recent transactions highlight the attractiveness of Harbour Exchange and reflects the quality and the continuing appeal of the location. With its close proximity to nearby transport links, amenities and strong community culture, Harbour Exchange has strengthened its position as the premier estate in the Docklands.”
Josh Lamb, director in the City agency team at Savills, which acted for Gaw Capital on the lettings, added: “We are thrilled to welcome PopMart and Tea Story to the tenant line up at Harbour Exchange. The recent regears by CLS Holdings and Digicert further demonstrate their commitment to the scheme and highlight the ongoing demand for office space in London. Currently, we have several units under offer and we anticipate making further announcements in the coming weeks regarding new lettings to a data centre provider and the expansion of the higher education providers on the campus.”
