SEGRO has appointed Rich Corbridge as the company’s new chief information officer (CIO).

Corbridge has more than 25 years’ experience in CIO roles across public and private sector organisations and was most recently director general for digital at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

He previously held senior technology and data positions at Boots UK and the Health Service Executive in Ireland, where he delivered a wide range of complex digital and transformation projects.

In this new leadership team role, Corbridge will oversee the delivery of the group’s digital and technology strategy, driving innovation and leveraging digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency processes, customer experience, and sustainable growth. He will report into SEGRO’s chief financial officer Soumen Das.

Das said: “We’re delighted to appoint Rich as our new chief information officer. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to lead the transformation of SEGRO’s digital and technological capabilities.

“The increased use of technology and data are integral to the delivery of our strategic goals. With Rich’s passion to drive change through technology, we will enhance our offering to customers, and maximise the talents of our colleagues by enabling more efficient and effective digital processes.”
