Greencore Homes has secured planning consent for the delivery of 42 new homes in Milton Heights, near Didcot.
Designed by HTA Design, the plans involve a landscape-led scheme that enhances the existing setting and incorporates a mix of 27 open market and 15 affordable homes located under three miles from Didcot Parkway Station.
Greencore’s homes are net zero in operation, better than net zero embodied carbon in terms of the structure of each home and ultra-low embodied carbon with regards the construction of the whole home. Designed and built to Passivhaus standards, the homes are highly insulated to ensure a low energy demand.
The M&G-backed housebuilder acquired the five-acre site in February 2023, as one of the initial steps in its ambitious goal to build 10,000 homes by 2035.
