RO Real Estate has let 5,266 sq ft to oil spill response specialist OSRL at its Waterside Place development in Southampton.

The estate, which is situated on the harbour front at Town Quay, is now 100% fully let for the first time since a comprehensive refurbishment of Building 3 and associated landscaping was completed.

The refurbishment included the addition of a new air conditioning system, new lifts, a remodelled reception area, new shower facilities on each floor, contemporary outdoor amenity space and bicycle storage.

Ed Davidson, asset management director at RO Real Estate, said: “As this letting brings the estate to full occupancy, it serves as a testament to the quality of the refurbishment and this waterside location which is perfect for OSRL, given their role in mitigating the impact of oil spills on the environment, including marine life.”

David Kershaw, group real estate director at RO Real Estate, added: “We are extremely proud to have secured the final lease at one of our Southampton properties with OSRL, the world’s largest international industry-funded cooperative dedicated to responding to oil spills.”

RO Real Estate was represented by CBRE and Vail Williams and OSRL was advised by LSH.
