Savills has hired James Hiatt as a director in the firm’s Central London investment team.
Hiatt has more than 17 years’ experience of Central London capital markets and was most recently a senior director at CBRE. Prior to that, he was a director at BNP Paribas Real Estate and worked for GVA.
In his new role, he will focus primarily on City investment opportunities and will report into Richard Garside, head of Central London investment at Savills.
Garside said: “Bringing James on board represents a major coup for our business. He has a wealth of expertise in advising clients on both sales and acquisitions and a track record to match, proven through recent challenging market conditions. His appointment coincides with a stronger start to the year, too. We are seeing increasing conviction from buyers as strong rental growth projections are evidenced and stock levels are starting to tick up, driven by greater proactivity from sellers.”
Hiatt added: “This is a really exciting time for the market after a challenging couple of years, I am looking forward to a fresh challenge working with a fantastic team to deliver positive outcomes for our all our clients, as well to help further grow the business’s leading market share.”
