Eddisons has expanded its valuations team by making new director hires in the Midlands and the North West.

Tim Richardson has joined the firm as a director in the Midlands and Tom Tawn has also been appointed as a valuation director in the North West region.

Richardson, who has more then two decades’ commercial property industry experience, will lead on commercial valuations across the Midlands region for secured lending, company accounts and pension funds, as well as managing capital gains tax and inheritance tax issues for clients. He will also provide Charities Act reports and is an expert in property and land sale and acquisition, and insurance reinstatement valuations.

Tawn (pictured), who previously spent more than a decade in Lambert Smith Hampton’s valuation team as associate director and then director, returns to the UK to take up his new role after spending six months as a senior valuer in Australia for Cygnet West.

Phil Deakin, who heads up Eddisons’ valuation team, said: “Providing the highest quality valuation advice across both the commercial and residential markets is an area of growing demand for Eddisons and we have an enviable client list. It is fantastic to be able to welcome Tim and Tom – two vastly experienced new colleagues – to take up strategic director roles within our team, working across the Midlands and North West regions.

“Eddisons continues to go from strength to strength as a business and senior appointments like these are key to driving that growth and continually striving to improve our service to clients.”
