Rula Developments has acquired a 39-acre site at Bingham in the East Midlands from The Crown Estate for the development of a new business park.
The Bingham 46 site, which is located eight miles east of Nottingham, has outline consent for employment uses and can accommodate more than 500,000 sq ft of space in units ranging from 10,000 sq ft to 350,000 sq ft.
The site suits a wide range of employment uses including trade counters, offices, roadside, manufacturing, warehousing and general industrial.
The scheme will exceed the current standard biodiversity net gain requirements with on and off-site contributions achieving a 15% net gain. Rula is targeting a minimum EPC A and BREEAM Excellent rating for the scheme.
A masterplan is now being developed and Rula will shortly submit a reserved matters application for the necessary infrastructure works.
